How it is calculated
Moving average = the sum of the last N prices / N, for each day from the Nth on.
Latest price against the average = (latest price - latest average) / latest average. It is negative when the price is below the average.
Each average is rounded to the paisa once.
Assumptions
- It is a simple average of 5 prices, each counted equally.
- Prices are entered oldest first, so price 10 is the latest.
- An average only smooths what has already happened. It does not forecast and does not say what to trade.
