The changes you can see on PSXDaily, newest first.

  1. New

    Tell us what to improve

There is now a Feedback page in the footer. Send an idea, report a problem or tell us what helped, and if you leave an email address we can reply. When you sign up you can also say, if you like, how you heard about PSXDaily; it is one optional answer from a short list and you can change it in Settings.

The Money Check now points to your paths

The Money Check now recommends the paths that fit you. After you take it, the learning paths page highlights them, with a "Start here" label on the first one. The result page lists the others worth following too. Everyone can still see every path without signing in.

    Install PSXDaily on your phone

You can now put PSXDaily on your phone's home screen and open it like an app. On Android, tap "Install the app" in the footer. On iPhone, tap Share in your browser, then "Add to Home Screen". It is the same free site, with no extra download.

Fixes: language switch, step numbers, the finished-run button and deleting an account

Signed in on a public page, such as a scenario page, the language switch in the account menu now takes you to the same page in the other language instead of staying on the old one. In a scenario, the numbered circles under the stage names now stop at the step you are reviewing, so after step 1 you see one circle and not two. On a finished run the top button now says "Back to the scenario" instead of "Pause and leave", and after you delete your account you go straight to the sign-in page with the confirmation, without a "session ended" pop-up in the way.

New scenario: First Salary, in English and Urdu

Play a junior accounts executive in Lahore through three paydays and a cousin's wedding. Decide what to do with your pay on the day it arrives, plan a large cost with a date, handle a surprise bill, and choose where your savings should sit. Every figure is made up for the scenario, and you can play it in English or Urdu.

  6. New

Share a scenario, your result or a badge

Scenarios, finished results and earned badges now have share buttons for WhatsApp, copying the link and your phone's share sheet. A shared result names only the scenario. Your grade joins the message only if you tick the box, and your score, points and other figures are never shared.

Settings, notifications and a daily reminder you control

Settings now have their own pages for learning, rewards, email and your data. The notification centre has filters for rewards, learning and scenarios. You can switch on a daily reminder with the question of the day, a Learning Cards reminder or a Sunday summary, and choose the hour. Every email is off until you turn it on, and each one has a one-click unsubscribe. You can also download all your data.

Save the questions you miss and practise them later

Missed a question? Save it, then find all your saved questions in one place from your account menu. Practise them one at a time, in fresh words each time, and take a question off the list when you have got it. Practice earns no points, it is just for you. The review page also lets you replay the scenario from any step of your run.

Levels, streaks and badges, earned by learning and never bought

Your points now have a home. The Rewards page shows your level, your streak, today's optional goals and eighteen badges, and the level map shows your journey. A pop-up marks a new badge, a new level or a streak of 7, 30 or 100 days. Missing a day simply starts your streak again at 1. You can hide the streak, switch the celebrations off or choose your own goals in Settings. There are no rankings, and nothing is locked behind a level.

Learning Cards, learning paths and the Money Check

Learning Cards bring a topic back just before you would forget it, and a missed quiz question puts its cards at the front of your queue. Learning paths give you an ordered route for one goal, and the Money Check is five short questions that suggest where to start. Your dashboard now brings it all together.

Play role-based scenarios and see where each choice leads

Play a person in a real money situation, in English or Urdu. Make a choice at each step, see what it led to and why, answer two short questions, and finish with a ten question quiz and your score. Your progress is saved after every step, and you earn points as you learn.

Every step now ends with a short quiz, and every scenario with a graded report

Finish a step and see what you earned, which of the two questions you got right and why, and save any you missed. Finish a scenario and read the story of your run in brief, take a ten question quiz, and open a report with your grade, the three parts of your score, a plan of what to look at again, the other endings you could have found and a map of your path. You can retake the quiz any time, and find all your runs under My runs in your account menu.

Urdu is checked, and you can report a wrong word

Posts with Urdu are now checked before they go live: the numbers must match the English, and every money term uses one agreed Urdu word. If something still reads wrongly, press Report translation at the bottom of any Urdu page. You can also make the text bigger in three steps with the A A A buttons, on every page.
